This recently completed Box 145 is heading to a stunning spot in Gisborne — right next door to another Elevate home we built a few years back for the owner's daughter. A special project, with a family connection.

At 145m², this design remains one of our most popular. It includes three generous bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate laundry, contemporary kitchen with concealed scullery and an open-plan living area.

Step inside and you’re welcomed into a bright, airy living area where an elevated ceiling and large sliding doors on either side, flood the space with natural light. In the centre, a wood burner adds both warmth and atmosphere, and custom in-built cabinetry delivers sleek, practical storage.

The kitchen features a striking black and white palette softened by light timber details. This particular kitchen features a sleek black rangehood as a striking visual centrepiece, complemented by glossy subway tiles. A dining table extension in engineered stone extends the useable bench space and has a beautiful David Trubridge pendant suspended overhead. Behind it, a concealed walk-in scullery offers plenty of extra storage.

Down the hall, two generous guest bedrooms sit alongside a reconfigured main bathroom, separate toilet, and a well-equipped laundry tucked neatly behind bi-fold doors. Matte black fittings and door hardware throughout the home brings cohesion and a refined, modern edge.

At the far end of the home, the master suite offers peace and privacy with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. The layout has been cleverly adapted to suit the owners’ requirements, creating a space that delivers on both function and style.
