This Barn 148 transportable home was designed for beachside living and to suit the needs of a growing family. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 separate living areas, this large 148m2 home was a practical yet stylish option for our Riversdale’s clients.

The house is fully clad in band sawn Western Red cedar and stained with clear wood oil so the timber will eventually grey off to a silvery shade for a natural, rustic vibe.

The home caters perfectly for the comings and goings of the teenagers in the family.  The teen haven features two bedrooms and dedicated bathroom at one end of the house with a separate, sound-proofed living area – complete with day beds for day-time lounging and night time sleepovers. This separate breakout area provides the perfect set up, allowing all members of the family their own space when required.

The large open plan living, kitchen and dining area with oversized exterior stacker doors on either side, provides a spacious and airy hub to the home, where the family meet and make the most of the amazing views and indoor/ outdoor flow.  

This house was created for the coast and for a busy family to get away from the stresses of everyday life in a home away from home. Happy holidays!
