This particular home was based on the Barn 70 model but was reduced from a 70m2 to 65m2 floor size in order to meet the secondary dwelling requirements for the Matakana/ Auckland City Council District Plan. Reducing the floor area was offset by a number of space enhancing features including the high raking ceiling, tiltaway bed, large picture frame windows and doors, higher than average internal door heights and the covered deck for year-round, all weather entertaining.
